AutoClip

External Influence: Talk

For all my friends who find themselves typing the same thing over and over and over again. Here's a VERY nice little program I found and use.

Basically you create shortcuts for whatever you want. You copy the repeated text say Clark kissed Lois and tell the program to make the shorthand CL. Then everytime you type in CL and hit the Enter Key ... you 'puter will type out Clark kissed Lois :)

There's another program on which this one's based that allows you to create keyboard shortcuts to run functions so you can type something and have your browser open and load a particular webpage. I use that one to make HTMLing easier. Instead of typing <*a href="*"><*/a> I type in hre and hit the enter key and the whole thing is typed out for me and if I have the url copied it'll paste it in the appropriate place and leave my cursor where I want it to be! Makes formatting SO easy!

LOL ... I thought that one might catch your attention! BTW I love this little program!! typing in links is amazingly simple now! I highly recommend the AutoHotKey program 'cause it can do a heck of a lot more than AutoClick.
