Angry
I'm so very angry. I live in a nice neighborhood. The kids ride around on their bikes, folks take walks in the evenings, everybody is really friendly. So I don't worry much about sending my young ones to play in the front yard or even the small field across the street. Which is exactly what I did yesterday.
TYL was alone, waiting for a friend to join her, playing in the field. When all of a sudden she comes running home in tears. It seems a couple of teenagers riding in a car, slowed down as they drove past her and yelled profanities at her. Of course I went out to see if I could spot the car .. but they had already driven out of sight.
Teenagers, no matter where they live or how they were braught-up, will do stupid things. But how much anger must one have inside to call a 10 year old girl a Bitch for no reason. I am angry but at the same time I feel very sorry for those buttheads. A good smack upside their heads and a rough dressing down is definately needed! Of course, if you would have asked me YESTERDAY what those brats needed I would have been a tad nastier ... maybe along the lines of

creeps...teens can be soooo irresponsible. sometimes you'd like to whack them up side the head with a baseball bat though! ;)

Asshats! I remember having my own run in with teenagers when I was maybe 12..it scared me and I didn't even tell my parents.
oh man, that stinks. Poor kiddo. she must be totally freaked by the whole thing{{{K}}}
Grr. What morons! Teenagers can be so stupid and mean sometimes. Big *HUGS* for your poor girl.
