The Last Stand
*sigh* What a fun movie! I've enjoyed the X-Men franchise since it's inseption. This installment did not disappoint. It seems that script writers have learned a lesson from Joss Whedon. Killing off beloved characters is not always a bad thing. I know the lovers of the comic books pretty much hate this movie 'cause it totally destroys the preestablished story-lines. Personally I'm not angry about that primarily because the writers, very wisely, gave the story an escape route to return, at least partially, back to canon!
I was also very happy that I didn't go to see it alone. A couple of my Browncoat friends joined me which was fantastic. Really nice people. We went out to dinner afterwards and talked and talked. I think we drove our waitress crazy ... she kept coming up to check on us and we were still chatting away! Great night, afterall I was joined but Browncoats and a Beast ;) Who could ask for more!
A little hint for those not in the know ... stay till after the credits ... there's a little jem there and its a goodie!!

*sniffles* Sad, but true.
And I so wish I had known to stay when we saw it on Friday. Argh!
Do you know what happened after credits? I can fill you in if you're interested :)
